diva-e develops online store for Weleda

diva-e has been accompanying Weleda on its digital transformation journey for several years. The online store in Germany went live in February 2024 as a major milestone in the digital offensive.

Immense technological, societal and social changes mean that potential customers are using more touchpoints within the customer journey than ever before - including in the cosmetics industry. For this reason, Weleda decided to work with diva-e as a digitalization partner to develop an online store that complements the stationary retail business with an e-commerce channel.

We are very proud to have accompanied Weleda on its digital transformation journey for several years. Together, we have optimized numerous CRM-related processes and laid the foundation for a strong digital offensive.

In February 2024, we reached an important milestone together: the web store went live in the main market of Germany. Previously, Weleda's premium natural cosmetics products were only available in bricks-and-mortar stores in Germany.

In view of today's consumer behavior, especially among the younger generation, a presence on direct online channels is essential in order to remain competitive in the long term and continue to grow. Weleda is now laying the technological foundations for this with foresight. And this is just the first of further planned steps to implement the digital-first strategy.
