After a successful financial year, digital service provider diva-e is entering 2023 with confidence

Further internationalization planned following North American expansion - sales expected to increase by around 25 percent in 2023 - number of employees to rise to over 1,000.

"From our point of view, 2022 has been extremely successful," says diva-e CEO Tilman Au, taking stock. "We have set the course for the future, pushed ahead with internationalization and expanded our high-growth core business together with our technology partners." He added that diva-e's service portfolio of holistic digital commerce projects was meeting with great interest from companies and institutions. As a result, diva-e was able to win additional major customers such as SMA Solar Technology. Many long-standing customers, such as automotive supplier Continental, agreed new projects with diva-e.

"We are approaching our goals with great confidence," says CEO Au, "with our brilliant minds, clear roadmap and enthusiasm, we will make diva-e the leading digital service provider in Germany specializing in holistic digital commerce solutions." In terms of revenue, he expects a 25 percent increase this year compared to last year. This would take diva-e past the 100-million-euro mark.

Software development and service support around the clock

"We have a lot planned for 2023," CEO Au continues, "especially in terms of the further internationalization of our company, our market presence and our growth rate." With the opening of its U.S. office in Cincinnati, Ohio, diva-e has taken a decisive step toward accompanying global companies in the rollout of omnichannel sales channels internationally. In addition to the expansion of the North American office, additional offices are planned in other economic areas to provide software development and support center services around the clock and during customers' peak working hours.

Collaboration with technology partners Adobe and Spryker on complex projects for large enterprises is particularly successful. A milestone here will be the adaptTo event, Europe's leading Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) developer conference, which diva-e is inviting back to Berlin after the Corona-related one-year break. Here, top experts will share their knowledge with the expected several hundred visitors. Furthermore, diva-e has reorganized its Digital Consulting division and now also offers customers one-stop business model, process and technology consulting for the perfect e-commerce customer experience and the right operating models for different business models such as B2B, D2C and marketplaces.

In addition, by carving out its data center division, diva-e has further aligned its business portfolio to end-to-end digital commerce. "The sale of our data centers in Frankfurt was a strategic step to enable us to focus entirely on activities in the service segments in which we are among the market leaders or will be in the foreseeable future," explains CEO Au. Revenue, adjusted for that of the data centers, is expected to exceed 81 million euros in 2022 - an increase of more than 20 percent.

Growth could be higher if it were not limited by the shortage of skilled workers. Nevertheless, diva-e has managed to increase its workforce by 215 employees, mainly software developers and consultants, to over 900 by the end of 2022. The attractive working conditions and individual development opportunities are underscored by the company's six 2022 rankings in the employee survey conducted by the independent research and consulting institute Great Place to Work.

diva-e will continue to increase its workforce this year. Thanks to new incentives, diva-e can further increase its attractiveness as an employer. Among other things, working hours will be made flexible enough for employees to work a four-day week in some cases. The number of employees at diva-e is expected to exceed the 1,000 mark in the course of 2023.
