As a Backend Developer, you lay the foundations for the functionality of digital solutions. Depending on the project, you and your team develop either the entire solution or individual applications that you connect to the overall system via various interfaces. No two projects are alike: You use a variety of technologies, discover new solutions and work together with the most diverse specialist areas in both our clients’ and our own company. As an AEM Developer at diva-e, you will work with a diverse team from development and UX/UI to implement sophisticated solutions for AEM - both in the backend and frontend.
Together with your colleagues, you will develop and program components of lasting value. In backend development for AEM, we focus on Java technologies. In frontend development we use web components with HTML5, CSS3 and TypeScript. In addition, we also develop applications with React, Angular or Vue.js.

Your team
In our diverse teams, you work as a Software Developer with your colleagues on contrasting client projects. Generally, our projects run for a few months to several years. You always work on a client project with diva-e colleagues with different roles, experience levels and possibly locations. We work agile and closely together in a team. Depending on the project, team sizes range between 3 and 20 diva-e employees.
During projects, you either work remotely or at the client’s premises, sometimes for several days. Of course, we try to keep travel to a minimum and to accommodate your personal circumstances. But unfortunately, in our industry, travel can’t always be avoided. The need to travel may be slightly higher at the start of the project, but then decline over time. What’s more, it’s important to us that you can work when and where you are most productive. Therefore, we also offer attractive mobile working options.
